Dr. Pir Mohammad is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Land Surveying and Geo-Informatics at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He earned his PhD in Remote Sensing from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, specializing in urban heat island studies in Indian cities, and was recognized with the Excellence in Doctoral Research Award for his exceptional contributions. Prior to his current role, Dr. Mohammad served as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the same department at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research interests encompass remote sensing, urban climate, extreme weather events, heat mitigation, and thermal comfort. Dr. Mohammad has authored 23 peer-reviewed publications in esteemed journals and actively reviews for numerous academic publications. He has presented his research findings at various national and international conferences, further contributing to the academic community. He is also a life member of the Indian Society of Remote Sensing (ISRS), the Indian Society of Geomatics (ISG), and the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA). Dr. Muhammad Nawaz Tunio is an esteemed scholar, educator and consultant in the fields of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Management. He holds a Ph.D. from Alpen Adria University, Klagenfurt, Austria, and currently serves as an assistant professor at the University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, Pakistan. With extensive academic experience at renowned institutions, he has published numerous research articles in top-tier journals, authored book chapters and edited books with reputable publishers. Dr. Tunio has successfully secured research grants and actively contributes to policy discussions on entrepreneurship and sustainable business practices. He has trained entrepreneurs, SMEs and professionals through various national and international programs. As a reviewer for several academic journals, he plays a key role in shaping scholarly discourse. His research focuses on entrepreneurial ecosystems, sustainable business models and AI-driven innovation. Passionate about mentoring young researchers and entrepreneurs, he continuously advocates for knowledge-driven economic transformation.  Francesca Gagliardi is currently a senior researcher at the Department of Political Economy and Statistics at the University of Siena (from 01/03/2025 she will be an associate professor). She teaches Statistics for Business Decision-Making, Basic Statistics and Statistics for Agribusiness across different departments of the university. Her research focuses on developing economic indicators of poverty and well-being, using various approaches, including fuzzy multidimensional models, absolute and relative measures and small-area estimation techniques. She has contributed to variance estimation methodologies, particularly through the Jackknife Repeated Replication Method, officially adopted by Eurostat, the OECD and EU Member States. Recently, her work has expanded to sustainability topics related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Agenda 2030, aiming to develop multidimensional sustainability indicators.  Davide Longato is a spatial and urban planner with particular attention to environmental issues. Davide Longato  currently work in academia as a post-doctoral researcher and contract professor, focusing on various planning-related aspects that can guide sustainable development and environmental considerations in spatial decision-making contexts, plans and policies. These include the development of GIS-based spatial assessments, the definition of planning strategies and instruments to implement sustainable actions and green interventions and the design of approaches and solutions to address today’s societal challenges in cities and regions. Davide Longato particularly specialize in climate adaptation planning and nature-based solutions for the ecological transition. Davide Longato received an M.Sc. in “Planning and Policies for the City, the Territory and the Environment” at the University IUAV of Venice in 2014. In 2015, Davide Longato  attended a specialization course in “Green systems” delivered by the Polytechnic University of Cataluña (Barcelona), strengthening my knowledge on environmental and green space planning. Antonio Pérez: His research trajectory has primarily focused on the analysis of economic inequalities, with a particular emphasis on child poverty. This interest has materialized through the publication of his work in prestigious academic journals such as Hacienda Pública Española, Journal of Family and Economic Issues, Child Indicators Research and International Review of Economics. His research addresses key topics such as the socio-economic determinants of child poverty and the impact of social spending policies on poverty reduction. He believes these publications not only demonstrate his ability to conduct high-quality research but also consolidate his contribution to fundamental debates in applied economics and the study of social inequalities. His total number of citations in the Web of Science Core Collection is 31, while his Google Scholar profile records a total of 98 citations. Helder Chaminé is a multidisciplinary geoscience expert with over 34 years of experience and a professor of Engineering Geosciences at the School of Engineering (ISEP), Polytechnic of Porto (Portugal). His expertise spans GIS mapping techniques for structural geology, applied geology, geotechnics and geohazards, engineering geosciences and hydrogeomechanics, mining and subterranean geology, hard-rock hydrogeology, water resources and thermal waters management and planning. Presently, he is the head of the Laboratory of Cartography and Applied Geology (LABCARGA|ISEP), a senior researcher at Centre GeoBioTec| U.Aveiro and Centre IDL| U.Lisbon, as well as belongs to the executive board of the MSc Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering programs (OE+EUR-ACE Label) and the Department of Geotechnical Engineering (ISEP). He has co-authored over 220 publications in indexed journals, conference proceedings/full papers, book chapters and technical and professional papers.
