Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationDr. Sílvio Vaz Jr. holds a D.Sc. degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Having previously served as director and partner at two private environmental analysis laboratories, he is currently a research scientist at the National Research Center for Agroenergy - Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa Agroenergy), where his work focuses on the development of renewable molecules (e.g., agrochemicals) and the application of analytical chemistry to biomass and bioenergy, as well as green and sustainable chemistry. He has previously published the books “Analytical Techniques and Methods for Biomass” (2016) and “Biomass and Green Chemistry: Building a Renewable Chemistry” (2018) and ""Analytical Chemistry Applied to Emerging Pollutants"" (2018).
