Overview

Tom Wasdin is a nationally known former college coach and a successful real estate developer and businessman. His biography, Once a Coach, Always a Coach, was written by Peter Kerasotis and published by Wing Span Press in 2014.Tom is also renowned for mentoring young coaches and for his generosity in supporting college athletic programs at Eastern Florida State Colle, the University of Florida, and Jacksonville University. In addition to these philanthropic activities, he and his wife Susie have donated several millions of dollars to various civic groups, arts organizations, and medical programs. He is a survivor of Trigeminal Neuralgia.Wasdin and his wife live in Historic Cocoa Village in a luxury condominium along the shores of the Indian River Lagoon. Susie has suffered from Alzheimer's since 2018, and this is her story.
