Author Information

LtCol Rodney Letchworth is a fifth generation native of Leon County, Florida. He is a graduate of Leon High School and Florida State University. He also has a Postgraduate Degree from The Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California; and a Masters Degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He served in the United States Marine Corps for 21 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He was a Naval Aviator and flew 289 Combat Missions in Vietnam, providing Close Air Support for Marines on the ground. He currently resides with his wife Julie at Westminster Oaks in Tallahassee, Florida.
