The author discovers after his rescue in the Indian Ocean (Off the Cocos Keeling Islands), that he has unwittingly become part of a two hundred year old reaccuring twist of fate .Directly related to two ancestors centurieis apart with exactly the same family name who both coincidentaly suffered the same fate in the same part of the Atlantic ocean. (Off the coast of West Africa).Lukily for JJ Paterson, he managed to survive a simlar fate. During his travels JJ also meets his soul mate Christina who becomes a major part of this intriguing tale.

After migrating to Australia with family from the UK at the age of 14.JJ Paterson embarked on the school of life. Eventually becoming involved in the offshore gas industry. A commercial diver. licenced rigger, crane operator and pile barge forman. With enough money saved, quit the offshore work to realize a long held goal when JJ bought a local music bar and became a publican, Unfortunately years later the sale of the bar dissolved into a protracted legal nightmare.Then fate threw a curved ball. With little cash and few options JJ accepted a job as dellivery crew on a 17mt yacht.Singapore bound for west Australia.What follows is probaly best descrbed as a story that had to be told.
