Dave Sweigert has more than ten years experience in addressing the concerns of HIPAA compliance. He has consulted to Kaiser-Permanente, the U.S. National Security Agency, NASA and is the former Statewide I.T. Security Policy Officer for the State of Ohio. This book was written to address the panic and angst generate by multi-million dollar fines for HIPAA privacy and security violations.
