""Surviving"" is a collection of poems written to shine a light on the struggles young people face with their mental health in today's society. It reveals the harsh reality of living in a place you can't escape, your own mind. But ""Surviving"" is more than a book about pain and suffering; it's a celebration of the strength and resilience it takes to fight the monster in your head, especially at a young age. The book is divided into three sections, guiding readers through the journey that many young people, including myself, may have experienced. It begins in a place of pain and anger toward the world, a chaotic storm of betrayal, broken trust, confusion, loneliness, and the many falls that follow. As you move forward through the book, there's a sudden spark, the realisation of inner strength, a determination for change, and the courage to build a better life not for anybody else but yourself. By the final section, there's space for love - not only for yourself but, perhaps, for others too. This collection of poems is a reminder that no matter how dark your head may become, there is always a light, even in a world that seems filled with nothing but empty darkness. Surviving is both a true reflection of the challenges faced by young people today and a message of hope to remind people that you are not alone and that you are far stronger than you may believe! I hope Surviving gives a voice to the silenced and offers a hand to hold for those who feel unseen: )
