Author Information

Freda B. Friedman is in private practice, with offices in Chicago and Northfield, Illinois. Her specialities include psychotherapy for individuals and families dealing with borderline personality disorder and working with those who have experienced various forms of trauma, loss, and relationship difficulties. In addition to running several client and professional groups in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Dr. Friedman has been a faculty member at the Institute for Clinical Social Work since 2008 and a member of the Professional Enrichment Committee since 2001. She is also a clinical consultant and reviewer for Behavioral Technology, the international training program for Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and presents workshops, training programs, and lectures on issues related to Borderline Personality Disorder. Kimberlee Roth is a health writer and journalist. She has written about borderline personality disorder and topics related to physical and emotional well-being for numerous newspapers and magazines, including the Chicago Tribune. Pam Ward, an AudioFile Earphones Award-winning narrator, found her true calling reading books for the blind and physically handicapped for the Library of Congress' Talking Books program. The fact that she can work with Blackstone Audio from the beauty of the mountains of Southern Oregon is an unexpected bonus.
