OverviewSurvival Games: The Specter of American Debticide provides a comprehensive assessment of mega fatality risks that could kill millions and even threaten to end human civilization. The mega fatality risk analysis examines the full spectrum of possible events from cosmic and natural disasters to pandemics and war. The most dangerous actor in the deadly game of nuclear brinksmanship is found to be the United States Government, a government that is becoming an unreliable ally and an unpredictable adversary as it slowly commits debiticide. The results of the risk analysis are also used to place mega fatality risks in proper perspective with the normal risks that individuals face from everyday hazards. Both normal individual risk and mega fatality risk are found, however, to vary significantly with the particular circumstances of an individual's life. Survival Games then provides tools that each reader can use to determine their personal risk profile and identify what strategies might be available to reduce their risk exposure.
