Author Information

David Greenaway is Professor of Economics at the University of Nottingham. He is an Associate Editor of the Economic Journal and Joint Managing Editor of The World Economy, and has been a consultant to the World Bank, UNIDO, UNCTAD, the European Commission, UNECE, HM Treasury and OECD. He has written numerous books and has been published widely in academic journals. L. Alan Winters is Professor of Economics at the University of Birmingham. He is also Co-Director of the International Trade Programme at the Centre for Economic Policy Research and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Common Market Studies and of the Economic Journal. He has written several books and numerous articles on international trade and is frequently consulted by organizations such as the World Bank, UNIDO and OECD.
