Since 1994 she has been Curator of the Fritz Winter Foundation at the Bayerische Staatsgemaldesammlungen in Munich. At exhibitions and in publications she is chiefly concerned with the art of the 20th century, and has published works on Lyonel Feininger, Lovis Corinth, Franz Marc, the Blauer Reiter and in particular, Paul Klee.
