He obtained his medical degree at the Catholic University of Rome, qualified as a general surgeon at the University of Florence. He is particularly Interested in general and digestive laparoscopic surgery, geriatric surgery and demographic aging, abdominal wall defects, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, surgical oncology and health management. He is President of the Italian Society of Geriatric Surgery, Vice Secretary of the Italian Society of Surgery, and Treasurer of the F.O.N.C.R.E (Forza Operativa Nazionale Cancro Colorettale). Dr. Crucitti is currently involved in the practical and theoretical training of medical students and residents in general surgery, gerontology, orthopedic surgery, and radiation therapy.
