Overview

1536. England is in turmoil. Henry VIII has declared himself Head of the Church of England, uprooting the order the country has followed for centuries. Much of her career was based in Lincolnshire, where she focused on how distant decision-makers affected the lives of local people without a voice. A mother of two and a grandmother, she moved to Surrey after being widowed. Suppression is her debut novel.
