OverviewThis book contains notes on vocabulary and grammar to supplement An Introduction to Modern Japanese (IMJ). However, the author has taken the liberty to include some additional vocabulary and grammatical items. She has also rearranged the order of appearance of some vocabulary and grammatical items to suit the needs and interests of students. This material has been tested and revised over several years while using IMJ at the University of Michigan and the Japanese Language School at Middlebury College. Although this book is designed to accompany IMJ, it can be used with many other textbooks and as a grammar book by itself.
