Reviews

'This third edition keeps the earlier one's skeleton and digests research and experience into a fuller body of applied knowledge. The authors create an integrative, coherent, nuanced, unpretentious, grounded, thoroughly enjoyable and engaging read. Having refined their original model, they give attention to deep collaborative supervisory relationships, and explore important topics for experienced and new supervisors. It is rare to have such a fresh third edition of a classic.' - Penny Henderson, Fellow of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and Co-director of Cambridge Supervision Training 'For anyone interested in clinical supervision of counsellors and psychotherapists this is a must read. Steve Page and Val Wosket write in an engaging, informed and above all scholarly fashion about supervision today. The authors are senior figures in the field and in this latest edition of their book they re-present their cyclical model of supervision within an up to date and global context. New material is covered that draws from their own supervisory practice, the latest scholarly publications, ethical and equality considerations and new approaches that include supervision online and by telephone.' - Professor William West, Reader in Counselling Studies, University of Manchester and Visiting Professor of Counselling and Spirituality, University of Central Lancashire, UK
