Dr. Zhilyaev has published more than 150 articles in peer-reviewed journals and his work has been cited over 6000 times. He is currently a visiting professor and research fellow at the Barcelona East School of Engineering, Polytechnic University of Catalonia, and prior to that was a visiting research fellow in the faculty of engineering at University of Southampton. Head of the Laboratory for Severe Plastic Deformation (SPD) Technologies. Dr. Raab is the inventor of such SPD processes as ECAP-Conform, ECAP with parallel channels, Multi-ECAP-Conform, and others. His main area of research is the experimental study of equal-channel angular pressing technique, aimed at fabrication of bulk ultrafine-grained billets from ductile and hard-to-deform metals and alloys. Principal Researcher, Institute for Metals Superplasticity Problems, Russian Academy of Science. Dr. Utyashev has published over 40 papers in peer-review journals and is the co-author of the book Superplasticity: Microstructural Refinement and Superplastic Roll Forming.
