Superhero 2: Teo

Overview

After a tragic event changes Teo's life forever, the seven-year-old and his mother decide to visit the psychiatric institution that played a significant role in their past. In search of answers and closure, they find themselves stepping into a place filled with mystery and lingering emotions. However, the visit unexpectedly takes a dark turn when Teo falls into the trap of a dangerous and manipulative patient. Unwittingly, he becomes a pawn in the patient's escape plan, but the real test is just beginning. Trapped in a world he doesn't understand, Teo draws strength from the memories of his friend and hero. Inspired by the sacrifice that once saved his life, he faces dangers that would break most adults. As the tension rises, Teo is forced to fight not only for survival but to preserve the memory of the friend who taught him what it truly means to be a hero.

Author Information

The author writes under the pseudonym Al Semlin. The pseudonym is an abbreviation of his first name, while the last name is inspired by the name of the place where he grew up. Although he is Serbian, Al Semlin considers himself a ""citizen of the world,"" having lived in ten different countries and not planning to stop at this number. His literary work is deeply rooted in his life experiences, which he has transformed into stories - some true, some fictional - all of which have left a mark on a piece of paper. Although the author has never sought to tie himself to a single genre, his work often contains elements of comedy, drama, fantasy, and social satire, drawing inspiration from everyday situations, people he has met, and places he has visited. With each new story, he explores the boundaries of his creativity, striving to provide readers with unforgettable experiences. This is just the beginning of his literary journey, which, as he claims, serves as a form of personal therapy and liberation for him.
