Overview

In this book, I explain some brief details of huge spherical shells composed of mainly nuclear fusionable materials which are held up against collapse by the compressive strength of proposed fusionable materials. The specific context for the spherical assemblies is the modeling of requirements for achievement of super-Planck Powers via simultaneous detonation of unit cells comprising the spherical shells. Methods for precisely timing the detonation of the unit cells are considered but without violating the light speed limits according to Special Relativity. Additionally, other forms of fuels for sphere composition are considered such as matter-antimatter fuels, exotic QCD fuels having super-fusion yields, and nuclear isomers. Numerous calculated examples are provided with repeated but explanative statements for emphasis. This is done so as to show the plausibility of the super-Planck Power outputs while minimizing the ambiguity in the quantitative analysis. On the order of a dozen and a half illustrations are provided to further explain and clarify the operating principles of the spheres and the detonation process. I hope the reader will enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed writing it. By now, the reader of my previously published books in this series on super-Planck power production has some ideas, perhaps even some new ones not disclosed in this book, for how Super-Planck Power generation may be achieved in principle. The subject of this book comes from the child in my temperament that has since pre-school age, always enjoyed Independence Day fireworks celebrations. I and my siblings would always flock to neighborhood yards to watch private fireworks displays in the days before each July 4 in the rural northern Connecticut town of Enfield I once lived with the rest of my large family while my father was stationed at the U.S. Navy's Nuclear Power Training Unit that was in operation in an adjacent town. If it caught fire or exploded, I was fascinated with it. Now, as a mature adult, my inner child has been sublimated to focus on more practical and useful purposes for explosive reactions. And why should this not be the case? After all, where it not for the huge space-time-energy explosion of the Big Bang, I would not exist to have been here to write this book and you would not be here to read it. The point is, great good comes out of naturally occurring violence in the cosmos. The greatest good is the evolution of sentient personal life forms. This book is just a glimpse of what our cosmically deep future time descendants may be able to accomplish. Even if for some reason, nature always forbids local Super-Planck Power generation, probing the theoretical mechanisms by how such might otherwise be accomplished can provide for a deeper understanding and respect for the rules and laws of the cosmos.
