Rob Witzel is the creator of Super Penguin, a middle-grade superhero adventure born from his lifelong love of fictional heroes. Growing up obsessed with characters like Marvel's Wolverine and Star Wars icons Chewbacca and R2-D2, Rob discovered early on that he loved not just reading stories-but creating them. Super Penguin began in the study hall of Danville High School, where Rob spent more time doodling comic strips than doing homework. Those silly sketches shared with friends at the lunch table eventually grew into the stories he tells today. Years later, with plenty of encouragement from his wife Halley and his parents, Rob turned those lunchroom doodles into a full-fledged book series. He now lives in Danville, Illinois, with Halley, their sons Parker and Hanson, and their two dogs-Luna the corgi and Jack, a lovable rescue pup. Katie is the illustrator of Super Penguin as well as the How Special I Am book series. She is also well-known for her Date Stamp Portraits Cindy is from Danville, Illinois
