Author Information

Lesley Harding joined Heide Museum of Modern Art as Curator in 2005. Previously, she was Curator and Senior Curator at the Arts Centre, Melbourne (1994-2003) and Curator at the National Art School, Sydney (2004-05). Lesley has also worked as a freelance curator and writer, and published and lectured on modernist and contemporary Australian art. In 2009 she co-authored Cubism and Australian Art with Sue Cramer, also published by the Miegunyah Press. Kendrah Morgan is Curator at Heide Museum of Modern Art, Melbourne, where she joined the staff in 2003. She specialises in modernist art in Melbourne and nineteenth and early twentieth century New Zealand art, with a current research focus on the work of Sidney Nolan. Kendrah was Assistant Curator of New Zealand and International Art at Auckland Art Gallery, New Zealand from 1999-2002. Previously she worked for six years in the commercial gallery sector and as a sessional lecturer in art history at the University of Auckland.
