Sri Mylavarapu Subrahmanyamu garu was a Bhasha Praveena and Vidya Praveena. He has, over a period of time, painstakingly researched and reviewed many explanations provided by various vidwans and pandits on Sri Ramayanam and compiled this wonderful book on Sundara Kanda for everyone to read, understand, enjoy and benefit from. Guruvu garu worked tirelessly to document over 2800 slokas in 68 Sargas in the Sundara Kanda explaining the way the slokas are to be read and understood with word-to-word meanings and interpretations from various literary works on the subject. The meanings and explanations are easy to read and understand and are provided in such a way that both the learned scholars and the people who are leaning this the first time can equally benefit. The book is provided in three volumes. Vol 1 has sargas from 1 - 15, Vol 2 has sargas from 16 - 40 and Vol 3 has sargas from 41 - 68. The first 70 pages of the Vol 1 includes introductions and acceptances by various literary scholars including Madhunapantula Satyanarayana Sastry and Sribhashyam Appalacharya Swami among others; information on life and work of Guruvu garu; dhyana slokams and samapanam in various sampradayams.
