Reviews

June 2015 Get sorted for summer with this collection of six crocheted tops you can dress up or dress down. They're easy to wear, and though meant for summer, layer them up with long or short sleeves underneath, or a cardi on top, to make them suitable for all-year-round wear. All projects are worked in Omega Dalia yarn, which isn't easy to find in the UK, but it's possible to substitute with your own favourite yarns. Intermediate crocheters should find these patterns a breeze. Knit Today May 2015 The 6 crochet patterns in this book will appeal to ladies aged 30+. The styles are varied with a beautiful long line, short-sleeved tunic (this is the design I would have put on the front cover) and a slightly flared lacy sleeveless top with a second colour introduced above the bust. There are four more patterns from intermediate to experienced skill level. This is worth it for the three good patterns. Excellent photos and diagrams with easy to follow patterns Karen Platt Yarnsandfabrics.co.uk/crafts June 2015 Summer is fast approaching and what could be better than a book full of beautiful patterns to make. I haven't previously made my own garments but this book has inspired me and I already have one in the process of being made. The book is packed full of 6 patterns in an amazing array of sizes. You can choose everything from small - 4x-large. Each of the patterns are in written format and range in difficulty from intermediate to experienced. The stitch designs are also supplied in chart format. The good thing is you don't need to worry if you are having any problems with any of the stitches you can watch a video on stitchguide.com The patterns use fingering and sport-weight cotton yarns so they will be beautifully and cool for the summer weather. I'm really enjoying making my first top and I love each of the patterns so I think I'll be adding each of them to my wardrobe. http://www.crochetaddictuk.com/2015/06/summer-tops-book-review.html Crochet Addict UK
