Louise Stott lives in a small village in Kent with her husband and two children. Horses were a big part of Louise's childhood, she had her own pony that was kept at the local stables. Louise has many happy memories of going to horse shows, gymkhanas and spending the whole of the summer holidays down the stable yard with her friends. Louise's daughter Lottie has followed in her mothers footsteps and now has her own horse at the local stable yard. hearing the things that Lottie gets up to at the stables, inspired Louise to create a series of books about the life at the stables through a young girls eyes.
