The Summary of the Directory for Catechesis will help teachers of the faith, including parents, pastors, and teachers, to joyfully proclaim the Good News throughout all stages of Christian discipleship! As the Church continues to hand on the Christian faith to the next generation, this summary document by the Secretariat of Evangelization and Catechesis will lead catechists and teachers through the Vatican's Directory for Catechesis. The Summary gives an overview of history, purpose, and overall framework of the Directory and presents the path for evangelization and catechesis. This Summary is addressed to the various teachers of the faith, including teachers in schools, parishes, dioceses, and at home.
