John was confined in the Texas Incarceration System from January of 1979, until November of 2014 (less than two months short of 36 years of continuous imprisonment - from the age of 18 until the age of 54). Self-described as having been the Gadarenian (demoniac) Man, John is now clothed in his right mind. He is now the man God called him to be. John is a man transformed by the renewing of his mind.
