Overview

This is the third volume in the series, Suddenly Free. It is a chronicle of what life might be like immediately before the Coming of Jesus Christ. This Coming, will be his Second Coming, to reveal the End of human time on Earth. But before that happens, the Bible tells about all of the really bad things that will happen to the people who are left alive. When? What will it look like? Who will remain? Who will be whisked away in the Rapture? The Bible tells us, but as with all things Scriptural, much of what we know is susceptible to many interpretations. This work of fiction is my imagination at work--some future fiction, some science fiction, some theology. Some romance, and some dreaming. And some terror. The enemy of men's souls, Lucifer, Satan, the Fallen One, is a central figure. Evil is a central theme. We visit the Abyss, the Throne Room, and many places on Earth. There are Beasts, and dragons, maybe hybrids and clones. My belief that the events in the Book of Revelation, the Book of Daniel, and the books of Thessalonians are not just symbology, drives my stories. How do you think it will be? No one knows for sure. I was carried to church as an infant, and continued at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio through my twenties. I sat under the religious and spiritual preaching and teaching of Reverend Dr. H. Beecher Hicks, Sr. at Mt. Olivet. I attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law. I was first licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and later obtained my license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in and in the State of Ohio. I practiced in and around Columbus, Ohio, for 30 years. I attended a Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee) for about 3 years. At Rosehill Road Church of God (now a campus of Pottershouse COG), I sang in the choir and taught adult Sunday school. I left that church to attend Victory Temple, aka, Light of the World Worship and Celebration Center. In 2003, Pastor Walker decided to ordain me as an evangelist. I attended Light of the World for 15 years. I became the statewide coordinator of Ohio National Day of Prayer sometime before I began attending Light of the World. As coordinator, I organized and conducted prayer conferences two or three times each year for 5 years. I organized the annual 4-day, 24-hour per day Bible Reading Marathon at the Franklin County Courthouse (Columbus, Ohio) for several years. And, I organized the state's observance of the Day of Prayer on the grounds of the Ohio Statehouse, each year for 4 years. In 2012, in an effort to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, I began attending Potter's House Church of God in Columbus, at its main campus. I was worshipping there when I heard the call to move to California. I published my first book on the internet in 2009: REAPING, Recession Proof Approach to Gathering Bountiful Harvests. I published it in print in 2010. I published the first volume of my Endtimes series, Suddenly Free, in 2014, entitled Rise of Evil. I published the second volume in the series, Purpose of Joy, in June of 2015. Triumph is the third in the series. I continue to write about the characters in the chronicle, because they continue to live and breathe for me. I believe God has more to say through the stories that He inspires. In 2016, I updated my first book and entitled it: Reaping-Harvest Card Edition. It has a surprise appendix. I moved to San Diego, California, in December of 2014. I have retired from law practice in favor of publishing books with Christian themes.
