In the Alabama area, she has provided almost 10 years of educational consulting, after-school social groups, and summer camps, including overnight camp, drama camp, sports camp, and play-with-me camp. She received her master s degree from the University of Kansas, USA with an emphasis on autism spectrum disorders. Penney Patterson Owens, MED, BCBA, works as a behavioural and educational consultant. She has taught in the classroom as a special education teacher and is now working to educate teachers, parents, and students about positive behaviour support and behaviour analysis. Penney received her master's degree from Vanderbilt University in early childhood special education. Her thesis and previous research explored receptive and expressive language interventions with children with autism.
