Overview

Since I was first published - someone had gone out of their way to expose my beliefs as a Christian; back in 1994 I originally gave my life to Christ but almost a walked away all together over what happened in Iowa. In Dirty Black Winter ( now re-issued ) I wrote what happened of this and the events after my nervous breakdown. In 2013 this was originally written in a matter of four months. The book was written during the era I was still with lulu.com and now the files had been returned to me - and got the namesake up on CreateSpace.com and got the rest the written by up there. I figured it was time I made this public - the main illustrators are me and an et. al. from the public domain as I pick the paintings based upon my time in Richmond. My world became weirder as I got published - as I wrote of some of this in An Eye In Shadows. ( This picks up at the end of An Eye In Shadows and shows other segments of Gothicfest 2005. ) This book takes from my online journals, handwritten composition book and observations from message boards as well as blogs of authors who had stifled me since I first started. This book is a willful act of heresy as I face down King James Onlyists and pick them apart as I also pick apart rivals in the business too. I speak of my falling out with Sarah Rose as she had a missed chance to learn more about me from one of my classmates. She is better known as Scary Lady Sarah. I have known her ex-husband (took one of their photos.) Legend Keeper was not playing for keeps -- as I am playing for blood; especially in the wake of Robin Williams passing away this took on an urgency. Is life a game? This became even more so when I took on Lulu.com on the 4th of July as I was prepping this book for publication -- what Lulu.com did caused a lot of setbacks and hangups with getting my new works out there because I needed to babysit my back catalog. The hostility renewed when one of my authors passed away where it played out in a phone conversation where I told them they don't give a fuck about their longtimers -- they care more about those who can't vote and not have a say in their country. Than someone who published veterans and the disabled as well as single parents. So the exodus from Lulu.com with roster started too as they walked knowing what they pulled on me. The introduction exposes those who had lied to the masses about why they had Legend Keeper pulled. There is naming names and calling people to the rug in this as I called Ramsey Campbell to the rug for telling me to give up. This book is full of criticism of public figures so those who are going around trying to get this pulled. I cite the titles a few of them were published in and will be talk about being tossed from the HWA when the trustees turned out to be those who bullied the fuck out of me. Warning in Advance: Difficult and controversial subject matter. Karen H. Koehler like Poppy Z. Brite with An Eye In Shadows had tried to stop publication of this so there is a special message to her in the introduction. I will not be broken. This book if you like Vincent Sakowski's Blender Fiction traits -- this also has slipstream tinged with Creative Nonfiction as when I wrote An Eye In Shadows. This goes with the catalog ties everything into each other -- you see Nick as the Atheist, the first era Christian, the misanthrope, and the reaffirmed who pulls no punches at all and acknowledges something from the Atheist years. This world is 4.54 Billion Years Old so those who are YECS will be irked by this so please put your kids to bed if you read this. I had just released my fourth collection and re-issued my second book too so go and follow along. This book talks about the solo works and my anthologies up to getting the second namesake published.

Author Information

I started as a writer when I was 14 years old and been a publisher now since the age of 28. ( Who can say they were published right on their birthday? ) This book basically puts everything on the line for the masses to see. I've written now seven books at this point as this is my third full length effort. Just released Collectives In A Forsaken Metascape. This isn't for the faint of heart as this goes with my entire catalog as a publisher and as an author. You can see a few of the journals on http: //np1976.codexed.com or tumblr.com ( 9 anthologies edited; five of them are back online then working on 10 and 11. The namesake anthologies. and six of my now seven books as a solo author are back online -- once I find Game Over from the original hard drive and redesign this it will have the look I wanted from the beginning. I am working on two anthologies at the same time as getting a presentation of The Epic Of Gilgamesh with a special introduction done.. ) The testimony was written as if I was still with Lulu.com and the introduction reflects what happened after writing Legend Keeper. Dirty Black Winter and the second collection has introductions reflecting the existence of my new collection, this book and Legend Keeper. It was a book I had thought to have lost and it was the first thing I really wrote since my grandfather passed away; when I said to Sarah Jane Ferridge about losing her inspiration it came from my own experience how I came close to losing all will to be inspired. My wordpress.com blog now and tumblr.com are known for being in depth. They both have a good sized following at that. Legend Keeper was the most inspired work in a while as Wandering In Darkness was my most inspired short story. It was to Skot and Rachel I had opened up about why I almost walked away from my faith in God; it stemmed from what happened in Revisiting the Loss Of Blood as I tell the story to Current TV camera crew at Gothicfest 2007. String of Nerves was the full nightmare what happened played out on the air as the second story in the third collection was the vacation I took after the nightmare. I needed to get the stabbing out of my mind. The King James Only types omit to admit the Bible has the word piss and bastard in there. I can see a few snickering at that one as I was. Brains disturb the KJVO.
