MARK MIODOWNIK is professor of materials and society at University College London, where he is also director of the Institute of Making. He is the author of the book Stuff Matters, a New York Times bestseller which won the National Academy of Sciences Communication Award for Books and the Royal Society Winton Prize. Mark writes regularly for the Guardian, hosts regular shows on the BBC, and was chosen as by the Times as one of the one hundred most influential scientists in the UK. Michael Page has been recording audiobooks since 1984 and has over two hundred titles to his credit. He has won numerous Earphones Awards and the prestigious Audie Award for best narration. As a professional actor, he has performed regularly since 1998 with the Peterborough Players in Peterborough, New Hampshire. He is a professor of theater at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
