Overview

The work in the thesis is related to the accurate measurement of electrical energy during transmission, distribution, and recording. Losses of the high voltage, high current transformers are measured by instruments involving measurement of power at low power factors, since the power factor is low in this process. It is easy to measure the losses of single-phase transformers, but while measuring the power losses in three-phase transformers, many assumptions are required because the measurement devices are not calibrated and the accuracy is not assured.
