Study Guide for Bridge Resource Management is designed to assist students in successfully completing an approved Bridge Resource Management (BRM) course of instruction. This text encompasses a complete BRM course of study which meets and/or exceeds the requirements of the following regulatory bodies: U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), International Convention for the Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, the International Convention of Safety of Life At Sea (SOLAS), and the Convention on the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGS). Study Guide for Bridge Resource Management may also be used as a template for maritime training facilities to use as a complete off-the-shelf BRM program that meets all regulatory requirements.
