Kerstin Stutterheim ist Professorin für AV-Dramaturgie und -Ästhetik an der Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen «Konrad Wolf» (HFF) in Babelsberg sowie Autorin und Filmemacherin. Als Medienwissenschaftlerin wie als Filmemacherin ist sie national und international ausgewiesen. Im Peter Lang Verlag ist ebenfalls das Handbuch der Filmdramaturgie erschienen, das sie gemeinsam mit Silke Kaiser verfasst hat.
