He has made comics for Star Trek, Popeye, Flash Gordon, and Garfield. He once ran an artist's commune in his grandfather's hometown of Zacatecas, Mexico, so he is very excited to write an adventure story set there. Axur Eneas is the creator and director of Toontorial, an animated series of shorts for Cartoon Network Latinoamerica. He won Mexico 's National Young Graphic Novelist Award in 2017 for his book Dibuja una Casa. He has illustrated graphic novels for Oceano Travesia, Pixelatl, and Scout Comics, and he was the artist for The Missing Dragon, the first book of the Student Ambassador series.
