"PRAISE FOR STUDENT AMBASSADOR AND RYAN ESTRADA ""A Korean travelogue with madcap antics and adventures . . . sure to appeal to reluctant readers."" -- KIRKUS (Student Ambassador: The Missing Dragon) ""A fun adventure tale with a lot of personality, this is a strong addition to middle grade graphic novel adventure collections."" -- SCHOOL LIBRARY JOURNAL (Student Ambassador: The Missing Dragon) ""A timely read about friendship amid chaos, how to fight oppression, and . . . what it means to consider oneself apolitical in a world where politics is everywhere."" -- NPR (Banned Book Club)"

Author Information

Ryan Estrada is the Eisner-nominated, Freeman Award-winning author/artist/adventurer behind Banned Book Club, Occulted, and Student Ambassador: The Missing Dragon. He has made comics for Star Trek, Popeye, Flash Gordon, and Garfield. He once ran an artist's commune in his grandfather's hometown of Zacatecas, Mexico, so he is very excited to write an adventure story set there. Axur Eneas is the creator and director of Toontorial, an animated series of shorts for Cartoon Network Latinoamerica. He won Mexico 's National Young Graphic Novelist Award in 2017 for his book Dibuja una Casa. He has illustrated graphic novels for Oceano Travesia, Pixelatl, and Scout Comics, and he was the artist for The Missing Dragon, the first book of the Student Ambassador series.
