Overview

Sharon Thompson brings to life the fascinating tale of a zebra named Stripe N Strong, who once performed in a circus and was uncertain about what life would hold after the circus ended. Things seemed hopeless for him when he found himself in the back of a gray trailer hitched to a Chevy Colorado, on a journey from New York to Georgia. Stripe N Strong's journey was familiar but lonesome. The once vibrant zebra was now filled with uncertainty. On the other hand, Nia felt truly lucky to have Stripe N Strong as a family pet. To make matters worse, while Stripe N Strong tried to navigate the uncertainties of his new life, he was ridiculed by a horse named Skip on his first day in Georgia. The story continues as Stripe N Strong gains fame and admiration in the community for his heroic act-rescuing a teenager named George from the Clayton County Shamrock Dam-and for giving George's autistic brother, Derrick, a zebra-back ride during the town's Pirate Extravaganza Day.
