At the young age of 12 years I became infatuated with everything that the streets had to offer. Witnessing local street kings in the community receive more credibility than doctors on the TV. The lifestyle became inspiring. Breaking the law became an excuse to escape the prison cell I was trapped in, MY MIND. Watching my mother lay there strapped to a bed not knowing who I was created a dysfunctional attitude. For years my mother was in a coma, I felt abandoned with no one to run too. No one seemed to had the solution to the problem. So I became curious to answers, asking God questions like why me? Growing up in a Christian home with my Grand Parents who thought the only solution to any problem was a beating. Leather straps and extension cords became my best friend. I became numb to the pain until I eventually became addicted to it. I made myself believe that if I continued to live with my grandparents that I would fail. Today I influence kids to do better and help prepare for their future. Encourage willpower and work ethic for their next step in life. Spending half of my life incarcerated forced my future. Today I am a best-selling author with different strategies to capture diverse audiences across the world.
