Overview

Every summer, in Italy, we have a number of festivals dedicated to Arts, generally speaking. Some of these festivals are dedicated to that particular expressive style, called Street Performing. In this book I have collected photos from three festivals held in Pennabilli (Marche), Certaldo (Toscana) and, Ferrara (Emilia). The photos in this book do not refer to the towns and their historical centre but only to the artists and their artistic performance qualities. My intention was to point out that the Street Artists often communicate with great expressive and emotional qualities This book tries to highlight the artistic and participative sign through a photographic sign which is intended to be essential, almost simple, in order to get into the moment of the artistic performance and to capture the skeleton, or the spirit
