OverviewThis book contains four stories with activities. These stories are based on a step-by-step approach for learning to read. Through the use of illustrations and activities children and students have the opportunity to become familiar with many nouns and commonly used everyday words.This book was created by Lorraine Dunne. Lorraine is the mother of one boy and she trained as a secondary school teacher and Guidance Counsellor. The courses she completed include a B. A. in Humanities, a Higher Diploma in Education, a Higher Diploma in Guidance and Counselling, a Dyslexia tutoring course, a Diploma in Life Coaching as well as a number of T.E.F.L. courses. She gained a vast amount of experience over an eleven year period working as a teacher in various educational settings and with different age groups. She also worked as a Guidance Counsellor between two schools and a Youthreach Centre for two years. She currently develops educational materials and resources for children and students.
