Vered Slonim-Nevo (D.SW) is associate professor of social work at Ben Gurion University of the Negev. She has extensively researched and wrote about human distress and its alleviation at the individual, family and community levels. Vered also maintains a private practice with a specialization in family therapy. She is extensively involved in community anti-poverty projects and peace activism. Itzhak Lander (Ph.D) is lecturer of social work at Sapir Academic College. He has extensive practice experience with individuals and families and specializes in child therapy. Itzhak writes about therapy and innovative approaches to transformation. As a long distance runner, he uses exercise as a potent vehicle for alleviating suffering.
