Stories of Goodness & Innocence

Overview

A book that doesn't shout for attention-yet stays with you long after the last page. The Stories of Goodness & Innocence is a luminous collection of modern fables where quiet wisdom speaks louder than noise, and joy becomes a form of courage. Set against the misty hills, bamboo groves, rivers, and valleys of Northeast India, these stories follow unforgettable characters- a barefoot girl whose laughter teaches world leaders how to live, a panda sage and a turtle monk who reveal the power of stillness, and curious seekers who learn that growth doesn't always come from speed, but from depth. This is not a book about grand victories or heroic conquests. It is a book about ripples instead of waves, roots instead of races, and presence instead of performance. Each story is gentle yet profound-crafted to be read by children, cherished by adults, and returned to again and again when life feels hurried, heavy, or hollow. The writing blends imagination with philosophy, humor with stillness, and innocence with insight-making every page both comforting and quietly transformative. You will find: Stories that slow your breathing without asking you to stop Wisdom that never preaches, yet always lands Joy that feels earned, not forced Morals that stay with you long after the plot fades Perfect for: Readers who love meaningful short stories Parents seeking thoughtful read-alouds Educators and mentors Anyone tired of noise, urgency, and hollow motivation Anyone who still believes stories can heal This book doesn't promise to change your life overnight. Instead, it does something rarer-it reminds you of what you already knew, but forgot in the rush to grow up. If you've ever felt that the world is moving too fast... If you've ever missed the quiet power of wonder... If you've ever believed that goodness and innocence are strengths, not weaknesses... The Stories of Goodness & Innocence is waiting for you. Not to impress you. But to stay with you.
