OverviewEdwin Watts Chubb (1865-1959) was an American author, lecturer and professor. He was educated at Schuylkill Academy and Lafayette College and he was a professor of English Literature at Ohio University. In 1907 he became a dean of the College of Liberal Arts. He was acting president for one year in 1920 when President Ellis died and again in 1934 when President Bryan died. His works include: Stories of Authors, British and American (1911).
