Welcome! I have been a mystery shopper, and mostly self-employed, for over 25 years. I've shared my experiences with many people over that span of time, and I am finally taking their advice and writing this book! This is not an instruction manual on how to become a mystery shopper. I am not providing any resources or advice on how to go about getting into the business. The avenues and opportunities I've mentioned within these pages are still readily available, but it is up to you set aside the time needed to navigate, research and make the effort to find what will work best for you. I'm not promising fortune, and in the case of mystery shopping, it can take years to earn the trust of schedulers before you're offered high-paying assignments. That said, I am hoping to entertain you with some of my most memorable experiences as a mystery shopper and provide you with encouragement to show that, with an open mind, you can find many ways to enjoyably earn income other than conforming to the mainstream ways!
