Dr. Indramani Jena, M.D. (Medicine) born 1948 is a native of Bhubaneswar and has been professionally a physician in practice since last 50 years. His inquisitiveness for his profession and society has made him a professional author at first hand. His publications are on health research and health education in diverse fields. His success has expanded his horizon of writing, coming to historical and social topics. He has authored three story books, ""Nisardha Salabhanjjika"", ""Fakkad"" and ""Ei Matira Kahani"". There are at least 50 of his stories in different magazines. He is the editor of the Odia magazine ""Bijoyini"", a popular annual publication based on a theme since last 10 years.
