Stoll: All the World's a Stage for Satb Choir


Overview

(Choral). This music was originally commissioned by The Hulme Grammar School, Oldham, to celebrate its centenary in May 1995. That setting waswritten for a large choir of upper voices. The first performance was given by the Hulme Singers under the direction of Mrs Rosemary Broadbent. The SATB choir and piano version was made in the summer of 2022, commissioned by the composer's sister. The first performance was given by the London Pro Arte Choir, conducted by Tom Winpenny, on 17 June 2023 at St Michael s Church, Mill Hill, London.
