Stock Market Rules

Overview

In its previous editoins, Stock Market Rules has sold more than 35,000 copies and has been translated into as wide range of languages. For this new edition, the package has been improved dramatically. In the 3rd edition, the book will be repackaged as a slimmer book with information of more immediate use to investors. The number of rules will be reduced (from 70 down to 50), but the author will retain the best and most useful rules: the ones that can help an investor make decisions here and now. For example, the rule that the stock market predicts the economy, while true, isn't very useful for making investment decisions today. On the other hand, rules about dollar cost averaging can have an immediate impact on the investor's decision making. The author also plans to give the book a sharper focus by collecting the rules into logical groups or areas. Those groupings are: - Research - Analysis - Strategy - Trading - Good ideas - Caution - Surprises The book will also be completetly updated as to data, charts, and examples from recent events in the stock market. With the recent scandals in the mutual fund industry causing disenchantment among investors and the increasingly optimistic outlook for the stock market causing investors to cast a new eye on stocks, there should be increased interest in Stock Market Rules for its ability to cause an immediate impact on an investor's choices.
