Stock Investing: Making Sense of Chaos

Overview

Unlike so many other investment books on the market, I have not given you some get-rich-quick secret formula. Instead, I gave you something of real value - a comprehensive, organized, and easy-to-understand overview of the stock market so that when you make an investment, you'll know what you're invested in, why, and what to expect. You will learn: the risks and rewards of investing in common stocks; the pros and cons of active, passive, and factor-based strategies; the pros and cons of investing in mutual funds and exchange traded funds; the ways to avoid market timing; the strategies used by investment managers to time the market; the role emotions play in investing; the role demographics, productivity, and the government play in long-term investing; and the importance of stock market indices and what they are telling you. And so much more.
