OverviewStochastic Control in Energy, Environmental and Resource Management Applications offers practical insights and solutions to contemporary challenges in resource, environment, and energy management. From sustainable fishery practices to water quality assessment and renewable energy generation, the book addresses urgent global issues. Additionally, it delves into the mathematical and computational aspects of stochastic control, aligning with modern concepts like Sustainable Development Goals and Green Transformation. It bridges the gap between experimentalists, who face practical issues without strong theoretical foundations, and theoreticians, who often propose idealized solutions. It does so by using stochastic modeling and control theory to foster balance between the environment and humanity.
