Yumi Hoops is a self-taught embroidery artist from Spain. She has a passion for all things Japanese, and uses her needle and thread to recreate Japanese food, streets and landmarks in her work. Yumi's work explores a range of different textures, stitches, fabrics and embroidery techniques to create her quirky and unique style. Yumi lives in Barcelona, and has held a workshop and exhibition in Osaka, Japan.
