Joanne Hanson Lyon is a pediatric speech-language pathologist who has been working with children of all ages for the past thirty years. She owns a private practice called Miracle Farm Speech Therapy and practices in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She first wrote Stir Bubble Bubble in 1991 and has been using it in her practice for years, adding silly and fun activities to go with it. She finally decided to make it an official book and share it with everyone. She chose to incorporate her love for art by doing the illustrations herself. In her spare time, Joanne enjoys sports, boating, and being active outside. She has two grown children who enjoyed Stir Bubble Bubble growing up. She lives with her husband and black lab, Elvis. Halloween is her favorite holiday!
