""SHALLOW POOL"" is a real life series of events in which the narrator observes (& interacts with) interesting incidents in a concrete, shallow pool of water. ""THAT GLORIOUS LINE"" is about the narrator standing in line to get a ticket to the golden gated community. ""THE CLOISTERS"" (originally a take-off of a painting), becomes a wild conversation between two drunk monks on their way to the annual ""Brethren Brotherly Love Shindig."" ""THOUGHTS OF ETERNAL THINGS"" is set in ancient Greece, in which the narrator has a conversation with Plato, and suggests to Plato that he should create a rap group.
